Privacy policy

Who is responsible
Alexander Simon Brown, trading as Alex Brown AI Solutions, is responsible for personal information handled through this website. Questions and requests can be sent to aisolutions@alexsimonbrown.com.
Information collected
When you book a call or make an enquiry, the information may include your name, email address, selected or suggested times, an optional note, and the messages exchanged afterwards. The hosting service may also process ordinary technical request information needed to operate and protect the site.
How it is used
The information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange and run calls, prevent two people taking the same slot, and keep reasonable business records. The basis is taking steps at your request and the legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
Google user data
The booking service uses the Google Calendar API only to create the requested event in the Alex Brown AI Solutions calendar and generate its Google Meet joining information. The service does not read unrelated calendar events.
The Google Meet and Calendar links for a booked call are also copied into Alex's private Notion planner.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers, or used to develop, improve or train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Services involved
- Cloudflare hosts the website and temporarily holds booked times.
- Google Calendar and Google Meet create the event and joining information.
- Zoho Mail sends and stores booking and enquiry correspondence.
- Notion holds a copy of each booked call in Alex's private planner.
These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms. Information may be processed outside the UK with the safeguards used by those providers.
Retention and security
Booking and enquiry records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the call, subsequent correspondence, business records, and legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact the address above first if you would like a request handled.
Cookies and changes
The site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Infrastructure providers may use essential technical mechanisms to deliver and secure the service. This policy will be updated if the service or its data use changes.
